Alpha Markers came to be by answering a basic question: why is there not a premium marker for creating great tattoos? Something that’s easy to remove or stays rock solid?

By drawing on skin you can give the flow and fit to body or space. BJ Betts developed these with methods that have worked for him for the past 2 decades. He hopes to put these markers in your hands, to allow your work to shine.

Foundation: Sketch on for form, fit and flow. Our water-based ink allows for easy rendering on the skin, that’s easily removed for reworking your ideas quickly. The dual brush tip and bullet tip allow for infinite line weight to match your style. 2 different light colours included.

Base: A semi-permanent Alcohol base to REFINE your ideas into a workable design. Gently wipe away the watercolour foundation base to reveal your clean Baselayer on top. Without the mess of your foundation layer left behind making your job easier and your clients confidence soar. 2 strong colours included.

Lock: Our lock layer is a violet stencil layer that holds up to wiping and tattoo work. Once dried (allow 10 mins drying time for ultimate results) this will perform as well as stencil paper without the rigidity of a stencil. 2 per box.

How long does shipping take?

Most in-stock orders are dispatched within 24 hours on business days. Delivery then takes 1 to 5 working days across Europe, depending on your country and the carrier. You will receive a tracking link by email as soon as your parcel leaves our warehouse.

Do you sell only to professionals?

Our products are intended for professional use. Every order is manually reviewed and double-checked before it is approved and shipped. If we need proof of professional status for certain items, our team will contact you before processing your order.

Are your inks and products EU compliant?

Yes. All inks and materials we sell comply with the current EU REACH tattoo-ink regulation. Each product page and label lists the relevant batch and compliance information so you can document everything for your studio.

What payment methods can I use?

You can pay securely with all major methods shown at checkout, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay and Klarna. All payments are encrypted and processed through Shopify's certified secure checkout.

How do returns and exchanges work?

Unopened and unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 14 days of delivery. For hygiene reasons, opened needles, cartridges and inks cannot be returned. Just reach out via our contact page and we will send you the return instructions.
